A friend of mine had the old man visit him last night, so he was jazzed, and just waiting on the sith.

Today, the sith came when he was afk...hehe, that'll learn ya !

Anyhow, he killed one sith, got incapped twice, and then killed the 2nd sith. He did his looting, found the datapad, and called me, so I could go with him to the sith camp. He waited for me to log in, figure 10 minutes or so, and then tried to use the datapad.

The message he got was something to the effect of "You can make no sense of this item."

Is that bugged ? Is that a result of his getting incapped inbetween kills ? Will he end up waiting 3 more days for more sith, or should he send in a bug. Killer for him, is on Wanderhome, this could be last day of phase 2, so getting camp done, would allow him to get his unlock today...lucky for him.

Anyone have any advice ?

Delete the datapad and wait for the sith again. Shouldn't take 3 days, i heard of people doing this and waited 30 minutes and boom, the sith were back. Just make sure you kill both before you loot them. And if you can't read it, delete the databad, wait again, lather, rince and repeat.

This happened to me as well. Supposedly you can try putting it in a backpack and opening it. If that doesn't work just delete it and wait for the sith again. They came in less than 5 min when I deleted mine. It took me three tries before I got a working one, just so you know.

Appreciate the info...you'll laugh at what happened.

We were doing some adventuring, when The Old Man came back to talk to him...my pal talks to him, as I'm reading the forums. Sure hope the sith pop again soon...and he doesnt have to wait another 3 days...as he just deleted the datapad.

Hey Ekul05, let me know how your situation turns out. The same thing happened to me. The Old man came to me withing 10 mins. Now to wait for those sith.

Happened to me too once, got caught off guard and the second sith got me. I revived and killed him, but it was too late. Funny thing is, in about the time it took me to type out some expletives to my friend in chat, the old man was back! Couldn't have been more that 2 minutes after i had been incapped. That old man, what an unpredicatable kook.

If the sith manage to incap you then you will have to wait for the old man to come visit you all over again, since you did not protect the crystal.

Also be sure to remind your friend not to loot the datapad until he has killed ALL of the sith. Sometimes if you loot it before killing all of them, it will produce a bugged datapad and you will have to destroy it and do it all over again.

That's right, protecting the crystal !

I really had to laugh though...my friend has steadfastly been at his computer for 5 hours now, just PRAYING that the sith would come back so he could wrap it up tonight.

I'll pass it on to him, and hopefully I'll be around tomorrow when he tries to take 'em on...assuming they come tomrrow !
