Thread: So wait for the next phase 3 or what?
What do you all think?
Done all these village quests with my first Jedi...and am doing them again. So speaking with experience I'd take the easiest/quickest route through the village as possible. FS bonuses count for very little in reality. The extra to melee accuracy is minimal vlaue when you are templated in Jedi enough for it to even matter. I remember the first time round the village I did a survey line because it was quicker.
IMO vehicular control is about the only one that seems to provide any tangible benefits! But having said that do Enhanced Reflexes (ranged Defense unlock). Its a cakewalk quest.
ether way... ranged defence even if minimal will be a good thing to have, I think I will skip the commander this round... unless it does get fixed that is.

Should I do it now, risk repeat falure fustration and possibly missing this unlock?
Or should I take the easy way and do the reflex unlock now, and wait to do the commander in 9 weeks, where there is a very slim chance it will be changed? (I think the "bug has to do with escorts in general not just good old dieing boy)
So it sound like your saying bite the bullet and go for it now (in a few days anyway) because you don't see a fix in the near furture, rather than have my last unlock be a frustrating experince. Am I right?
I had a similar decision back in Phase 1, I had 7 branches unlocked (but slowly working the xp grind). Decided to just power grind through 6 of the 7I had, to get my exit quest. I am banking xp each day for when Range Defense becomes available again to just do the quest and train the 4 boxes. and drop the branch i took just to get my Jedi unlocked. Aslong as we don't get another one of those Double exp weeks, it'll take you several weeks at minimum (power grinder) to make a decent template for jedi. You can max out combat exp (converts 3-1) with grenades while working jedi exp. And when you unlock the branches you want bang(nopun intended) your done...Win-Win situation, playing withyour lightsaber and running from the infamous BH'ers.

Just an FYI in terms of "waiting for them to fix it"... They were made aware of these exact same bugs last time phase 3 came around and obviously did nothing in terms of bug fixes. Do not expect or anticipate a fix 9 weeks from now since they haven't fixed it from 9 weeks ago...
TH, Tiggs, and Baciacca haven't even acknowledged the current bugs yet.

Honestly this is why F.S. needs it's own correspondent, specifically to do nothing more than compile bug lists and to push to make the F.S. skills useful or remove the point cost to them.

Well... personally.. bugged to all get-out or not, I'll be attempting it till one of two things happens...
- I somehow am lucky/patient enough to get it finished.
- My frustration level hits the point where I finally hit the cancel button.
Being in-game 2 years... this is only a minor frustration in comparison to many things in the past (I'd still like to finish my Krayt Skull quest that has been bugged for close to 20 months now)....
I say, bite the bullet, give it a shot. Expect some frustration and expect to have to run it multiple times. Worst case scenario you end up waiting a few more weeks, maybe find a different skill to open or Hell could freeze over and this might get a hotfix.... LMAO!!!!!
Either way, good luck, good hunting, and try to take it in stride.

I've heard from many that they should fix the quest in phase 20
If so it's a stealth fix, there's been nothing in the patch notes about either fixing this particular quest or fixing NPC's so that they run when following and have some terrain negotiation.
