Thread: made a mistake with unlocking a skill tree

I made a mistake while unlocking my "luck" tree in hightened senses. by unlocking it by doing the quest I appearently blocked myself from using my free unlock from the hologrinding days on that skill tree.
my question is: can I use my unlock on one of the other hightened senses and get the xp. then train the luck tree as I want?
I have contacted a CSR and he gave an answer that made clear he didn't understand what I was talking about and then set my ticket-status to closed meaning I would have to make a new ticket and try to explain it all from the start.

I"m not sure if I'm understandnig... did you unlock Luck with your free hologrind, then accidently do the quest for luck? I was under the impression you were not aloud to perform the quest if you already had it unlocked.

I did it the other way around. quest and then I wanted to get free xp for the tree...

unlock another senses branch, youll get enough senses XP to fill a branch, you can then use it to fill luck. You dont have to use it for the one you unlock for free, it just gives 1.25 Million XP.

I had figured it out but I didn't dare do it before I had some kind of confirmation first.
yes, I know it is just a game but the thought of doing it the grinding way just scared me... then the combat ones are more forgiving.
