Okay as stated glowie..., waiting on old man still....but when I get the visit and kill the shadows....I get to go to village...my question is about unlocking the alternate character...how does that work? When will i be allowed to start another char on my current server? How does one switch between chars....log off and back in or???

What lvl are the siths? I am lvl 77 currently...slow grind to master bh..unfortunately.

After you complete the padawan trials you will get the 2nd toon. Just head to your server and hit "create" char. You can never have them ingame at the same time. To swatich between them you just do /logout which takes you to the char selection screen. Switching goes fast.

The alt is only on your server, and is only unlocked when you get padawan. I believe that Sith are in low lvl 70's as well.

how does the second toon work...? Will one be the char i created originally, and the second the jedi that I will have to grind? what?

the one you have now = jedi

the one you get = totally n00b, do what you want with him.

No the character you got glowy on is the one that will become the jedi and your second toon will be a regular character on the server.

nah, you can grind your 2nd toon jsut as good as your main, you wont get a free unlock on the 2nd though

and why people do 2 jedi are beyond me, they must have some kind of grind fetish or something, but there are serveral around

Well i could see them doing 2 different templates but i personally would just regrind the new template on my main and make my 2nd slot one of the regular professions. etc...
