Thread: Phase 3 crafting quest reward question.

So who gets the reward? Only the people who win? I thought that everyone gets a tool and only those who win the categories get a BETTER tool.
I completed this quest but did not get a tool.
What gives? What am I missing?

It seems to win the tool you need to come first in one of the two categories - best overall quality of resources submitted or best overall quantity of resources submitted.
I failed the phase 2 crafting quest, for the tool, didn't do the phase 3 quest last time, but acquired loads of resources during Phase 3 to the Phase 3 just gone, and had enough resources to give the Binary load lifter 60 items. Someone on our server gave 48, so I gave 49, and won! 
I should send a complaint to SOE, as its unfair not to get a reward, and once quest completed it can't be done again, on same character.People should get a limited version, but get the BETTER one, as you said, but currently its not the case.

My understanding is that there are 2 rewards. The same tool but winners of the categories get 20 guaranteed critical successes whereas the others just get 5%.
That being the case, where is our tools?
