Thread: No Reward for Phase 3 crafting quest??

So... I did the crafting quest in phase three, pretty much for one reason - to get the LS crafting tool reward.
Was I wrong in thinking everyone who did the quest would get the reward and that those who excelled would get the 5 exceptional charges tool, while those who were the best at the quest would get the 20 exceptional charges tool?
Anyone have any insight? I mean, I read the stickies, and follow-up posts. Nothing mentioned a chance that I wouldn't get ANY reward...

A guildmate and myself both did the quest. He just did any resource quality and did enough to complete the quest. I tried at being the best in a few catagories so I could have a shot at a better tool. My guildmate got a saber crafting tool and I did not.
I looked in my quest journal and it doesn't even show that I completed the quest like it did for the other 2 quests I did, FS Assembly and Vehicle Control. I went and talked to Paemous(Sp?) and it shows that I can recieve training in Vehicle Control, FS Assembly and FS Experimentation.
I'm going to submit a ticket like I'm suppose to, but it will prob get deleted like it always does. Ok once I got a reply, to bad they replied to wrong toon on the wrong server even though it was addressed to my main on Lowca.

your reward is opening that branch, far better than anything tangible, except maybe a stripper, but i dont see that being in game anytime soon

I know this quest is "capped" at so many, but not sure if that means only "x" number of awards or "x" number of people can take the quest. Ifit is "x" number or awards lets say 20, then the first 20 would get the reward the rest would not. Not sure if this is exactly how it works or not. But if it is it would make sense.

I did the quest to get the reward. If I do the grind for that branch that will be at a later time. I unlocked my jedi pre-pub 9 so I didn't have to do any of the village quests, but it took me 32 professions to unlock though.
Also when I took the quest I looked to see how many crafters were listed and there were only 14 at the time. When my guildmate took the quest he also checked and there were over 20 at that time. So I really have no idea why I didn't recieve a Lightsaber Crafting Tool.

its only given to 2 people each phase 2 and 3. uhave to have the best overall quitaly or the most crafted. i got mine by having the best over all quilaty. ethitet omak

I didn't get any when I did it... but that was quite some time ago...
