You've won a free Jedi! Stop your gind now, because as long as your CL80 you can respec to a full template Jedi in the new system. You wont be an elder, since you werenta Jedibefore the system came out, but since Jedi is equal to all other proffs in the new system, any proff can respec to any other proff.
Does it suck that you wasted your time doing the village and grinding FS trees? Yes. But before you feel too bad about it, remember that it sucks ALOT less for you than it does for people who not only did everything you have, but have also ground out an entire Jedi template, so put yourself in their shoes before you feel too sorry for yourself.

You cant respec to a full temp Jedi. You need to read the FAQ a little more. You can respec to FS, which if you understand Star Wars is not a Jedi. We still have no idea what the new quest/grinding methods will be so why keep making these posts about people getting full template Jedi. You unlock a FS and thats all we know for now.

FS is just a starter proffession in the new system. If your a CL 80 your going to be able to respec to a full someting, whether you want to call if Jedi or FS.

- For those who have gone through and gotten partway through the Force Sensitive Village (FSV), how will their re-spec points be allocated?
The FS village has been removed and Jedi have been included as an iconic profession, so progress in the FS village will not have an impact on the re-spec.
- As Jedi seem to have more points vested than other players, will those players who were high level Jedi get more re-spec points?
Re-spec is based on combat level (or Skill Point usage in the case of Entertainers and Traders), but we do have some other great incentives for veteran Jedi in recognition of their efforts.
It says that Jedi are the inconic proffession, so its seems that FS and Jedi are interchangable terms in the new system, even though its techinicaly inaccurate according to SW lore.

About the respec.....nowhere in the FAQ does it say you will respec to a full template char. I would bet the respec only lets your change your starting profession. It seems that choosing your starting professing is like choosing your race, once you decide your stuck with it till you delete your character. THAT is what i think the respec is.....
BTW I am soooo glad i never bought the expansion!!!!! I canceled my preorder the day before i launched due to bugs not being fixed.

If that were how it worked, why does it say that your respec is based on your CL? If you can only change your starter proffession, then why does yourCL matter? From what is written, it sounds like your CL will determine just how much respecing you will be able to do, and the higher the CL the more full a template you'll be able to respec to.

I think thats not where most of us have a problem
I think most of "our" problems come from knowing that a Master Pikeman can respect the same amount as someone who spent 5 months in the jedi village GRINDING each day...
In a group, you can master ANY fighting skill VERY quickly...
So why should someone who can master a skill in a few days, be able to respec the same amount as someone who is CL80 and spent 7 months in the village grinding their TIME and effort away?
That just doesnt make sense there...
While Im happy that I will be able to respec to a Jedi, so will anyone else...And making it so easy, it seems as if almost ANYONE/EVERYONE and their mother will be a Jedi. Like it wasnt bad enough after the last jedi revamp...
