Thread: If it's hitting TC on Friday, why would it roll out on the 15th? That doesn't make sense.

That is correct. This has already been in talking and in testing for a long time now. The only reason they came out with ToOW is so that they could get their last bit of good money in before we all quit.
Think about it.. if you knew this was happening would you have ordered the expansion? It's all just money to them..

I dont quite understand that line of thinking. ToOW has nothing to do with the actual NGE. Granted people are upset with the NGE, but this is before people've even played it. I didnt buy the expansion as im rather busy with the FS grind of one of my toons, but i still would have, had i had time to play it.
Maybe thats just me, but i dont feel that people were cheated into buying ToOw.

No, there isa problem with the NGE and ToOW. Sony knows it will loose alot of veterans to this. This even shows in Julio's letter where he says he "hopes" many of the veteran's will stay, meaning he is aware (and willing to accept) that alot will quit. The problem is they pushed a new product (ToOW)to the people that they knew have a relatively high probability of quitting. Then after they collected on it, they hit us with the whammy. They KNEW it wouldn't sell well if they told us before and so they didn't. You can say that's business, and if you remove the moral aspect of the move, it's not a bad idea. But I feel like a tool and can't help but be a little upset at a business that turns me into a tool.

That not even enough time. TOOW was in TC for like a month before it rolled out.
Thisis an even bigger change.
Whats going on?
