Reports are coming out of Dathomir that the mysterious village, “Aurilia”, recently discovered by the Galactic Empire has finally been destroyed by a group calling themselves the Sith Shadows. All inhabitants of this village have been massacred and the buildings razed to the ground. There are no reported survivors.

Bothan sources have told the Courier that there have been multiple failed attempts by the Sith Shadows and their leader, Mellichae, to destroy Aurilia over the last year. Little is known about this group or their leader, although anonymous sources state that they have little connection with actual “Sith”, a race from Korriban whose people died out centuries ago.

All bodies were recovered and found to be force sensitive leading some scientists at the nearby spaceport outpost to conjecture that Aurilia was in fact a refuge for those interested in learning the ways of the old Jedi religion. One young man identified as “Whip”, puzzled coroners. He was missing a leg leading some scientists to wonder if Whip’s Leg would eventually become phat lewt for wayward adventures.

The Empire’s Inquisitor Office is currently asking for anyone with information to step forward. In particular they are looking for a balding old man who wears a cloak as well as Mellichae, who is considered one-armed and dangerous. If anyone has any information please contact your local Galactic authorities promptly.
