I have heard that it is possible to cap this combat xp 3 times in one buff sessions. Currently I am a commando 4-0-0-0 with 6 boxes left to do. And I was wondering:

1) What grenades should I do on what creature?

2) How many greanades do you use on the creature (on average)?

3) How many times do you cap out in a session?

Ok I was master commando and used protons for most of the grind but I did at least one branch with thermals and yes you can cap combat exp 3 times per buff on a good day. For the most part I wasn't using powerups (I think maybe I had powerups for the thermals).

1) I did giant baz nitch lairs on Dath exclusively for my whole FS grind. I tried gaping spiders once but their intimidate is a real drag.

2) This will differ significantly depending on what nades you use. I don't remember how many thermals/lair, but I was using maybe 15 protons per lair (so I'd guess maybe double that for thermals). That's 3 stacks of protons per lair =8 lairs per crate(again, I wasn't using powerups for most of it - you'll definitely save time and money with pups).

3) With protons, 3 times per buff session easy. I was capping 3 times per buff even with the village swarming with sith (10-15 minute wait to talk to paemos...). With some powerups and additional tactics (letting lairs respawn, etc), you could definitely do 4 caps per buff with protons if you're a real keener.

I don't know why people use protons, thermals are far superior imo. Blast damage plus ap2 vs. ap1 and they have nearly the same dmg as protons. Plus you only have to grind 4000 commando which is VERY easy cause it's combat xp instead of grinding all of commando. The only thing master commando is good for imo is the +40 accuracy but even that is moot since you never miss when throwing at a lair.

Itake 2 giant baz nitch lairs, use thermals on the 1st lair till everything on the outside is dead (takes 4 sets of 5 nades [20]), then go to the next mission and do the same. Then I come back to my 1st mission and kill everything outside the lair again (this takes another 4 sets of 5nades), then i kill the lair since everythings spawned. Then i finish off the last lair. In total, for each lair,I use 8 sets of 5nades (40singles) and get just over 100k combat xp.

So, after i've done my 2 missions, which takes about 20mins, i have 220k or so combat xp.

Ifyou didthis solidly, and there weren't any sith at the village to slow you down, you could prolly getcap combat xp 4-5xin a buff. Easily 3-4x though.
