1) What is the average time he takes to spawn..., 72 hours?

2) do i have to be outside of a house for him to spawn..?

it took him like 48hrs to see me,same with the sith after that

Took about 45 hours for me. Still waiting on the sith though, it's only been about 7 hours, and I havent been on, I logged off after getting the old man.

When I got old man it took like 72 hrs yet that was when the quest stuff just started, now I hear its less than that.

I was actually outside my house when he appeared it does not matter where you are really, he will come no matter what, however DO NOT be on a vehicle he can not catch you!

I got my 2nd old man visit almost exactly 16 hours after finishing the 6th branch.
