I do believe you can however. Jedi XP from what I've heard is not converable and even if you use you Non-jedi XP to train the next tree not entirely sure if you would be able to drop the others.
The information would be nice to know from someone who may have tried to go this route.

Someone once tried to drop a FS branch while being a jedi by getting 7 and then dropping one.
I don't know what his results were. I was prolly on a holiday and forgot afterwards or something.
But since you can't use jedi XP and furthermore it takes very long to get one branch, (you must still remember that
) it's not very smart to do.
And what would you want to change since you prolly already have the 4 branches that matter, melee & ranged defense and melee speed & accuracy.
All the force crafting stuff is useless cause it only changes thechance of an amazing success on either experimentation and crafting and technique makes sure you fail less.
