Hi,
Im new to FS stuff. Ive read SSS's thread and its very good. But when doing this quest I was reading the quest journal and somthing came to my attention. The thing is, im tryn to do this with a partner so when can get both rewards. This is what we did, please tell me what to do next if you know.

1.We both talked to the captin in the village for the mission.
2.We both drove to one of the bases and looted a code disk and returned it to him.
3.We both got a shield thing to disable it. But she got one for the base we just came from, i got one for another.

Now from my understanding we both have to do a diff part of the quest.

4. She disbaled the shields and we both attmpted to kill the npcs but were slayn by turrets.

Now i know theres issues with the turrets, but thats not what i need help with. The fact that we did it together i wanna know what we are supposed to do exactly. This is what i thought, but im not sure. Im at work, and ill be damned if i wanna go throug all that if we do it wrong.

What i need to know:
1.DId we both have to ask about somthing diff from the captian? IE she ask about the shield, and i ask about the capitan?
2 Sense she took out the shild she had to kill 5 sith shadows, and i had to get the capitan right? or do we both have to shoot the sith?

And thi big one i wanna know is....

We died. So now what? How do we go about completing it? the quest journal says if you die you gotta join another group, Like you cant get the mission again or somthing. I have a shield deactivation thing in my inventory so im guessing i can still find that base, and do one part and she do the other, i just dont know.

Answers to your questions

1. Yes you both needed to ask about something different from the captain. One of you asks about the shields while the other asks about the commander.

2. The person who asks about the shields has to kill 5 of the sith. This doesnt mean others cant help. But you only get credit for a kill if you attack one. So this person has to attack 5 different sith to get the commander to spawn.

3. Now that you have died you have failed the mission. Time to either get more shield code disks if you are out or head back to captain and talk to him again to start mission over.

great! so we can start it over? thank god. I was worried i was out of options once we faild it or somthing, at least thats how the quest journal made it sound.

Well, sinse i never officaly did anything myself besides die. How can i restart it? Maybe just delete the shield thing from my inventory?

You wont need to delete it. It was destroyed when you used it. Just head back to the village and talk to the captain again.

Na, she used hers. But i still got mine because we both got the codes off the patrols. So now i have the Shield thing still. What should I do? Destroy mine?

No dont destroy anything

You can try the same base more than once. You just have to wait for the 2 hour respawn timer. Or if you have other codes try another base and see if it available.
