Thread: Wondering since melee quest has all the bugs.. would i be better off doingthe survey quest?

I have all the xp banked for my trees... so if i take this quest and complete it.. its cool, but if i do the survey quest for luck.. then i would still have to grind a little more medical for heightned sinces... (2 boxes worth)... what would you guys do? Wit hall the bugs.. it seems next to impossible. I am on flurry server... so i could use some help with it..
The crystal is a nice reward.. but i will not unlock jedi till phase 2 comes back around.. so if i did luck this time.... then i could always come back 3 weeks later and do the melee.. just for the crystal/modifiers......
My question is... is it worth it.. i mean is the melee quest .. gonna make my jedi that much more different? please give opinions...........

If you really want a Jedi do the melee accuracy quest even though it's bugged. First of all Melee Accuracy will help with your LS skills. Secondly you get the Sunrunner's Destiny Cyrstal which gives 30% Elemental Damage instead of the 25% from normal crystals.

The +12 MA will bump your damage variance toward the top slightly. It won't make or break your character (no more than having a +12 Lightsaber Accuracy clothing attachment will).
Anyway, there's diminishing returns on Accuracy anyway, so if you go MLS, you'll likely have so much accuracy that the +12 only adds a few points of damage per swing, on average.
That being said, if you are a min/max type, then you need this quest. If you are more of an RPer, then take the trees you think most fit your character.
The BEST reason to do the quest is the Sunrider's Destiny, but you already have it.
That said, it's your Jedi, and your choice.

If you want to unlock asap choose Luck, if you want to risk possibly the buggiest mission in the game with all the horror stories you read about queuing for a go at it for hours on end and people stealing, all to reach 3 weeks time and not have completed it, then wait nearly 10 weeks for it to roll around again, feel free!

I read all these stories the last 2 times I watched Phase 3 go by (I've been in no hurry to unlock) and set up myfs xpto avoid it. I may do it in 12 weeks when(read, IF!) SOE fix the problems with it and I do that and then drop something else (vehical probably), but frankly the +12 acc may be nice but I don't think it's worth thegrief right now.
