Last night, I finally got the 2nd visit. I went to the WP to do a little leader's recon. My initial reaction was.....well this is going to be tough. I saw that my brother had just logged on....so I headed back to Theed to meet up with him. He was a full-temp Jedi, and he said that we would need more help.

I asked for volunteers, and got only one after 10 mins. So here was our mix:

MBH/MR/0001 Pistols

Jedi Full-temp

MSwords/TKA/4000Doc

I concentrated on the crystals, and they held aggro on the Sith. After the crystals, the Jedi held Mell, and the other and I killed the rest of the Sith. After that it, it was just finishing off Mell. My brother did comment that it was a very good fight, and he had to use a holocron during it.

Drop a faction base by it an solo it, for anyone out there who have noone to help.Don't waste time standing in front of starport asking for help, most people (At least on Valcyn server) are way to busy to bother it seems, or maybe it is because of the low population, who knows, but anyhow, try this for a solo tactic, takes about45 minutes, but satisfying. Start with green crystals, they are opposite side of each other. Approach 64 meters out, orFarther with Cyber Arm. Take out 2 green, then 2 red, if sith come out, run to faction base, or dispose of em if u r able. wait for run to recharge.Finish offgreen and red crystals, no hurry, there is no time limit. if at anytime the body guard comes out, just run and dont stop till he gives up chase, lol. Ok so now the crystals r gone, here comes the easy part, take out a droid andhave it attack mallichae, the first time the body guard will follow,how ever any other attempts afterwards he does not, unless u get to close and aggroe him of course, stay 60+ away at all times. Soin anycase, burst run dont try fighting em, when they give up chase, wait for burst run to recharge again, this time attack mallichae again with droid or rifle, but this time lead him to faction base you planted, and make sure of course u r combatant! Now all you have to do is run keep running around the base, staying out of his line of sight let the rebels or imps do the work. he may retreat sometimes, but no biggie, wait for burst run to recharge and try again. Only mallichae has to die, not his bodyguard. Dont worry about having to loot him, once he dies u complete quest, so if the NPC's kil him, its no biggie. This tactic has been used numerous times, diffrent variations are:

1.Feign Death instead of running.

2. Do all the work up to the point where only mallichae is ready to be drawn out by droid, and have your friends come to help then so they dont have to stand around waiting for you.

3. Once mallichae is left,get in a xp group and have em help u right quick, most r willing if it is just mallichae left. (You can actually leave the area and return, seen this done a couple times, however i dont know if u can leave the planet) This tactic works for neutrals the best who are friendless, like i was : )

4. Who knows, im sure there are other ways to kill Mallichae.

Oh yah, just a quick note, most all the problems can be traced to who shoots the crystals, every time as i have noticed, it can be solved easily by allowing noone else to shoot/destroy the crystals but the ones whos quest it is. Any level 54 or higher can use a rifle, may take longer solo, but saves many hours in most cases, lol. Noone else should be shoting crystals, it may work time to time, but not from what i have seen.
