You shouldent be upset at the devs for reducing the combat xp to 30:1


You should be upset with the amount of people that gernade grinded.




Yes it needed fixed. I know people who during normal xp could get an entire colum of fs xp filled in a day. Thats not even to mention the double xp days.



Gernades have been a major issue and this is a good fix.


I know you all want to be a jedi and you can be, just keep working at it.

A good fix would have been to change XP gained from grenades to Heavy Weapon XP. Combat XP is gained at one tenth of the rate of 'normal' XP, so why should the exchange rate be30-1?

Appreciate the words of encouragement, but I think you miss the "why" of all the annoyed people...


1. This change was made with no announcement, making it seem sneaky and underhand


2. This change hurts ALL players not just those who were grenade grinding, and I don't think most people understand why this was done rather than changing the grenade xp to heavy weapons or something else because, as is normal with SOE, we are never given any pertinant information.


It doesnt effect me, but I feel for all the non-power grinders that this will hurt (as someone said, power grinders will just change to the FOTM template and carry on). But then I've never understood how SOE thought that making the path to a powerful and wise jedi (an icon of Star Wars) was best achieved by slaughtering 100'000 critters for 4 solid months! Even dark jedi wouldn't learn a whole lot about being selifsh/greedy force users and the manipulation of others after punching their 7000'th quenker in the head!

Or even grenade XP, and have the commando grenade line require.......grenade XP.......

gernade girnd didnt affect this omg! its to slow down the girn dcompletely for everyone if they wanted to fix nade girnding they would have made nades give heavy weapons xp or nade xp

Well i can understand the Combat Exp change... but 30:1??? why not 10:1?


And if grenades were the problem, then why did they change medical from 10:1 to 30:1 as well?
