Thread: Phase 1: Whip's Quest. Reset?

Can anyone inform me as to whether the number of villagers you saved resets if you incapacitate (therefore failing the quest?) I just had a run-in with several sithies, and a giant spider. Needless to say I incapacitated, and it said that I failed the quest. Does this take my villagers that I have rescued back down to zero?

I don't believe so, just that you failed that particular rescue. I went off too far ahead of mine and he despawned, so I just failed that one. I went back to Whip, and rescued the next two no problem.
