Technically, from the SWG perspective, there is no such thing as a dark jedi padawan. You can obviously role-play it, but padawans are not specifically light/dark aligned. In the old knight trials, you picked your alignmentsomewhere in the middle of the trials (based onyour factional alignment). I'm assuming the new knight trials will be similar, whenever they are released.

Somewhere between a third and a half way into your grind, as long as you have channel you'll find you have enough Force and regen that you can do without the robes for everyday grinding. Then it's pretty easy to send an e-mail to your fav BE-modding tailor and get yourself whatever "dark padawan" getup fixes your fancy, with lots and lots of melee def or terrain negotiationor whatever else you like. A tip here is to make sure your gloves have 4 sockets, and put any fun CA's you mayhavein the glovesso you can wear them with your robes as well.

Bake Master's hat fits the trando head nicely and has the best of all hat names. Too many sunguards in the game, feel like I am walking through some SE Asia rice field sometimes.
