Thread: Have you cancelled already? Why not?
Cancelled one so far. Prolly the other one soon. The reason being is that every time I start to get settled in with my template they nerf something to oblivion or make some useless/unwanted change.
I forgot to add: Dont forget to cancel your Pre-Order! I almost forgot and you only have like 4 more days to cancel that.Seriously SOE fix it, or perhaps put it back to broken but playable and fun.
I should add that at 1 point I thought the Cu might be ok. When you started a naked toon on TC5 and the skill box master wasnt working. I found it VERY easy to go from 1-7cl. I logged out and said geez that's not so bad, new icons,diff skills but ok. Well you can't stay level 10 forever can you ?
They won't even get a 3rd expansion out. Sad. EQ got me for Basic + Kunark + Velious +Luclin +PlanesoP + Ykesha + Im forgetting the names there was so many until the last one, and that's not becuase EQ was ruined it was because 5+ years causes boredom. + $12-13 a month for 60 months. AND IT WAS WORTH IT. I'd already like my money back on this crap. Hell I only came back cause they fixed that idiotic hologrind. Pre publish polls had people who planned on playing this to weild a lightsaber WELL over 50%
People are calling the new CU EQ-like. That's a compliment. Just call it SWG #2. and we know what #2 is.Im not sure WHO to be disappointed with. Who the heck makes these calls? and who are their advisors? Becuase either there is a large silent majority ... or Most of us are angry.
Fixing the CU alone will not fix this either. The respec has cause more disgust in some than the CU. Knowing you converted 3Mill Combat Xp + Weapons xp into FS and could have picked almost any template if you didnt convert it all.
And Finally , although im bored ... there's nothing to play : The best analogy I've come up with for this CU switch is this :
You have an online Chess game. People sign up to play online Chess. Yah some people are pawns, some are Queens, but they all have a strategic role and people like the star wars music you play Chess to. THEN, one day you decide to leave all the chess pieces out there. .. But change the freakin rules to checkers. All the pieces are now worth the same ,knights and rooksare made equally, the old strategies are gone.
I for one , Don't want to play checkers.
