Group upwith a grinding group that is level 80. (Note: It helps if you're level 80 too)

As you go from mission to mission, chuck a 'nade at creatures until you've hit them all. Wait for the group to kill them.

If the creatures were level 80 or above, you will get 4000-5500 exp depending on your level per kill.

Add an inspiration buff, and you've got yourrself a nice grinding machine. Good luck.

===> Wait for the group to kill them. <===

This is what you have to do if you use Imp Det's....the ones that I have that I didn't get to use before the CU,have a speed of 71.

That's 71 seconds of standing around waiting, since you can't do anything else. I made the mistake of chucking one while trying to tank with two guildies last night, they were lvl 46 and lvl 56, while I'm a lvl 80. I hit a lvl 82 Kaadu, that's right, a lvl 82 KAADU, with an Imp Det, then I stood there and watched as it agro'd both guildies, incapping them before my 71 second timer had expired.

Now, it did do what is supposed to do, that is knockdown the creature, but it jumped up in about 3 seconds. There is no relation to the knockdown power of the nade to the amount of time it was lying on the ground. I would think that if you cannot use any other weapon or special for over a minute, that creature that was hit with the nade, should be down and out for a bit longer than 3 seconds.

On a side note, If I was hunting with somebody that was just throwing one or two 'nades, then standing around waiting for US to kill the creatures, they'd be finding themselves another group. It's tough enough killing at or near your level as it is, and since lairs still spawn creatures relative to your group size it would make things harder on your group. I'd only suggest this if every else understands what you are doing before hand.

Sadly that's no help at all dude. That used to be the way to do it, but not now. Nades now have a range of 64m blast radias, and you cant throw them unless you're within 25m, so whether your'e armored or not, you get hit big time. Worse still, when you get hit by your own nade, you suffer a 1 minute non-combat warm up penalty delay and in this time, you're slain since you've aggro'd the whole lair on to you. Believe me I've tried.
