Thread: First Padawan Trials Mission... Bugged already

I just tried my first Padawan trial. I had to travel to Rori, find Torin, kill a guy he sent me to (all easy) then report back to him to complete the quest. But of course he never spawned back! Any suggestions on how to finish this? Thanks in advance for any information.

go to a force shrine and meditate, and restart quest, its a common thing.

thanks! How common exaclty is this? Travel is expensive nowadays Any other of the quests do this often?

Yes this is very common. While on the trials expect it to happen around 30 to 40 percent of the time. Also, any of the missions on Rori or Talus I would restart them and try to get them on Naboo, Tatooine, or Corellia, It seems like the npc you travel to appears more often when the quest is on one of the 3 core worlds. Just pay attention to which planet the shrine sends you to. If it's Rori or Talus simply restart the quest until you get the planet you want.

Sad to say, but get used to it. Over 2/3 of my padawan missions were bugged.

I had no problem with Rori or Talus, but all of mine that ended up on Naboo were bugged for me *shrug*.

ok have got to my second mission and it is bugged can any one tell me the location of a shrine on tatooine as it would save me a hope back to corellia

Surprisingly I had no problems anywhere but Naboo. I had to restart the quest probably 10 times or so (took me three nights of trying) before it worked. Do the usual and make sure you walk to the wps from 500m out (most say 250, but I like to be extra careful). Regardless of how careful you are, chances are you will get some bugged wps and despawns.


I actually got close enough to see the little sob and then poof- he was gone. Now that is frustrating right there, I don't care who you are. lol

I noticed that if I was in combat while returning to the NPC, they would despawn. Sometimes it would just randomly happen, too - but if I made sure nothing had aggro'd me, there was less chance of having that NPC poof when I was 50 to 100m away from it.


This is especially important for the "kill 20 creatures" quests. You don't want to have to repeat finding all those sludge panthers or whatever. Make sure you're not aggro'd, and try approaching your NPC on foot rather than swoop. It's annoying, but I liked to think it was a trial of patience for a young Padawan
