hi im making an imperial jedi (sith) and am wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit about the visit from the old man is it different for a sith than for a light side jedi?? if so does anyone know what the npc for the dark side is or where he would pop up? cause a friend of mine recently was on dantooine near the jedi temple ruins and ran into an older looking npc human male who sent him to kill the guardian of the temple and the to take an artifact to a sith initiate and then kill an untrained light side padawan im just wondering if my friend will get glowie for doing all this he has already recieved 2 sith holocrons and is starting to get curious so please let me know if you do thank you sincerely Sith Lord Korr

Since there can only be two sith, the best your friend can hope for is Dark Jedi.

No. The old man visit is still the same. The force ranking system is currently not working. I was imperial when I got my old man visit. I'm still doing village quests and won't have a Jedi toon until sometime next year (I take time out to do badge quests and things).

First of all, you cant become a Sith in this game. Well, unless of course you can kill the emperor or Vader, but their the only two Sith. All you can really be is an imperial Jedi. "Dark Jedi" and "Light Jedi" dont exist anymore, as the FRS no longer exists, and everyone looks exactly the same(there are no dark or light robes anymore, just white padawan robes for everyone). And no, there is no difference at ALL in how you become a Jedi no matter what your faction is(regarding your question of who visists you)

ok but what i mean is could someone tell me kinda what a visit from the old man would be like cause my friend is farther then me and this is the first time ive ever had to deal with becoming a jedi like this so any in depth info would be helpful thanks

"an old man" will walk up to you and say he needs to talk to you, he will give you a force crystal...siths will come for your crystal, kill them and you loot a datapad, giving you the coordinates to the "village" if you die, he takes the force crystal that the old man gives you, and you have to wait for the old man to come talk to you again and restart the cycle. You probably wont be able to kill the siths ..im assuming youve had the game for 2 weeks or less, so i would get some healing added to my template and then get glowy..which isnt even possible atm since its broken, so wait till the fix and please read the stickies next time, thats what theyre there for.
