What’s the best template for grinding FS boxes should I go Rang or Melee?

Right now Im BH 0,4,4,4 Master Carbines Im tired of BH and was thinking of playing around with Brawler proffessions but thought I would check first before do such a major change in my templete.

Also i have no clue as to what FS boxs I should unlock or fill and would like some ideal in how these boxs will effect my jedi later or if they even do?

There is no best temp. Most people just want the temp that allows them to trade in the most amount of exp the fastest. Any temp can do it it just depends on how fast you want to do it. Dont base your temp around the village. Base it upon a temp you enjoy playing and get your experience playing your way, not someone elses.

Yes.... do whatever is fun for you. If you want to go a completely Brawler temp and be able to get 170K FS Xp at each trip to the village do two elite brawler masteries and two lines of four in the other two brawler elite classes. For instance:

  • Teras Kasi Master

  • Master Pikeman

  • Swordsman 0400

  • Fencer 4000

Of course if you hate Melee you won't have a good time with this temp.

Exactly! I personally stayed away from melee professions seeing as this is Star Wars and I was a melee in every other MMO I've ever played. I regrinded several templates until I settled on MBH/MCM. This allows me to hunt NPC marks, which can be fun, and also Revive and Heal in groups and on quests. All around fun template for me. It only yeilds 100K FS per trip but I wouldn't even think about basing my game play on a template designed around the FS grind. I would think that would lead to burnout so fast, but hey, it is your $14.99/month.

Combat fs exp has a very bad turn in... CH/Scout has good turn in ratio. A jedi once told me that the combat trees are not all that much (+12 for each tree) is just a drop in the bucket. If you are into pvp... then it might help. There are quiker ways to get the fs exp thou. By the time I grinded out 2.5mil in fs combat exp... I had 4.1mil done in the senses tree.

I know I've said this before, but it's gotten lost in the posts somewhere.

First I would say, find a template that you are comfortable with. When you are good at your template, you will grind faster.

Second, Try to make sure you get at least 100k per trade in.

Third, Remember if you calculate the overall time for the grind most of it is Grinding. Not flying to the village. Dont worry about putting together a template that gives you 200k per trade in but leaves you under level 80. You will actually take longer to complete your grind that way because you will get less exp per kill. You need to maximize that.

Finally, Set a realistic goal for the amount of experience you want to grind per night. I had based mine on solo grinding 6 lairs, but do what is realistic for you. Once you've hit the goal for the night, relax and enjoy the game. If you get more experience that evening, then its bonus experience. If you just sit around and shoot the bull with guildmates, that's fine too. It will keep you from getting burned out.

Good luck

Yeah, it has medic 0040 and is level 80.

It also has improved centre of being, spin attack, power boost, cripple attack. You will also have an extra 4 skill points to put somewere cause i got a FS tree aswell.

Well do some math:

* 1,250,000 FS exps required for one branch
* With the Exp buff from an entertainer (assuming that works on a crafter), you will get 5500 exps from a Gungan Head statue, which at 35:1 exchange rate becomes 157 FS exps. Therefore you need to make 7962 Gungan Heads to get one branch worth of Crafting FS experience. Perhaps less in Practice mode since that gives you another 10% experience
* Now, each Gungan head requires 2000 Ore and 1000 Gemstones, assuming you harvest them yourself they are free but you will need 15.924m Ore and 7.962m Gemstones.
* If you have to buy those resources, you are looking (at 3cpu) 47.772m for the ore, and 23.886m for the gemstones or a total of 71.658m credits

Apart from the already mentioned melee template, MBH is probably the next best; pistol, rifle, carbine, combat and BH XP.

But I totally agree with the other posters that have said: DON'T pick a template you don't enjoy playing, it really does hinder you in the long run.

I also agree with the "set yourself a target" suggestion, good for the sanity
