Thread: Do I have to...?
I was reading another poster's reply to a question and it made me think of something. The poster stated that most (if not all) Jedi have ADK'd their Lightsaber. All well and good, so far. My question pertains to finishing the village and facing Mellacae(sp.?). After I unlock my sixth branch and grind out all of the needed force sensitive xp to train all six brances, then I get a visit from the old man again. After he visits and gives me a waypoint for Mellechae's camp, I (and maybe two or three friends) go to the camp and take him out. Do I have to start the Padawan trials immediately? I have four months in and I figure it will take at least another six months for me to grind the fs xp at the pace I'm going. Will it make a difference in starting the Padawan trials months or even a year after beating Mellachae(sp.?)? There are still a lot of other things I'll be doing and quests I want to try. I also want to wait until I earn the 12 month veteran reward (ADK) for my eventual LightSaber. Unless I can pick one up for under 6 million credits. Any offers?

no you dont have to start them immediately after. No one really knows what direction the game will take in 6 months so it may very well change or remain the same. The ADK does help in that the pearls you use in your saber will not decay. but if it takes you 6 more months to grind out the FS exp and the system does not change, you should be able to continue on just as normal.
As far as ADK?s but on my server they are going for 25-30 Mil now. If I found one for 6 mil Id scoop as many up as I could lol
Thanks for the info. It's going to take me over six months because I don't grind xp continually. I like to go on quests, do missions and get content badges; mostly solo. ADK's go for the same on Wanderhome - 25-30 million. I was hoping someone would feel sorry for me and sell me one for 6 million.![]()
Oh, well. I can always keep hope. Thanks again for the info.

Its nice to hear someone actually wants to enjoy the game and experience things outside of the normal "get me there the fastest grind." Pre CU I did the same and after I had seen/tried everything I finished the village. You will see/do things many here wont do. Have fun and good luck.
i feel adk are "well not pointless".........but for the price of them i dunno........
.......i sold mine for around that and have no regrets......and still have about 3 ackley pre cu batons with over 700 condition.....but that just me ![]()
Just clarifying.
No takers onoffering me anADK for 6 million, then? O.K.
No problem.
Seriously, though; I thank everyone for their responses to my original post. Now I know I can take as much time as I want. Thanks again.
