Soloable? Possibly, I did it with just one other person, of course he was a jedi knight. But I do have a suggestion. If you use probot droids it makes taking out the turrets much easier.

I did this with one other person also. I am not 100% sure, but I think doing this quest solo would take a miracle, or a Jedi of some kind. The turrets and gate you can get by with just a probot. It would take awhile but a single combat droid can do this. Theproblem would be the large spawn of Sith that are guarding the base. They respawn very very fast and I think there is at least 12 of them, maybe more. You would have to run in, capture the commander, and somehow lead him out while killing those Sith. I just don't see it happening solo. Unless I am missing something obvious.

Totally soloable,

did it whit my MRifles/MDoc/artisan 0033temp wookie 1st time...whit the base near the science camp, destroyed the turrets first then deactivete the shields, then killed the gate and the turret in the backthen killed the 5 thugs partthey kinda respawn but not infront of the gate as they should, but walk from another spot to the gate...this is the key to succeed you can kill 1 or2 again and they respawn and walk to the gate no metter ifyour shootin one or twoof em.

So when they respawn and walk to the gate run for it to capture commander, kill the gate, follow me command- on the commander and bring out your swoop or burst out of there...you might find some trouble here, but if you go thru the edges of the first gate and not the middle (where the sith's are) you might find less resistence (like 3-4 siths to fight)

Hope it helps. Last tip is...do this near village, my commander poisoned himself 3.5k away from the village

Curious on when you did this quest? This was my last unlock which I did last week. The commander walks very slow and its like he has zero terrain negotiation. If we even got 10m in front of him he would turn around and start walking back. Not only that but at least 12 Sith spawn in front of the gate and run at you if you get anywhere close to them. The way my friend and I did it was I ran up and used an AOE on them and then ran. The entire group followed me. My friend then ran into the base and captured the commander. Sounds like you had an easier time with it.

When I finished it we had 5 people in the group and it was still a pain. You could probably solo it but it would take a long time since the turrets have 100k health and spam for 500 damage. The sith spawn in a 1m radius of each other so they are right ontop of themselves. So pulling them even at 3 at a time is probably not going to happen unless you get lucky and they stand somewhere else. Not to mention walking the commander and the sith were spawning in our path and running up behind us not including mobs we walked intoo that were in our way. The commander was good for walkingas long as you stay inside 40m of him. Any more then that andhe'll run. The slower he walks forwalk to the village is the faster he heads back to base. If you can solo it be my quest but I'd rather just get a small group together and get it done alot faster.

It is soloable. I did it.The first time I got the commander to the gate of the village and he died AT THE GATE. however the base was 3000 m away and this was when he did notrun and had no terrain negotiation. Found a closer base and it was easier.

Use a probot (or rifles) to take out the turrets from more than 65 meters away before you lower the shields. The turrets will not shoot back if only a probot attacks and your are far enough away. Then have the probot take out the gates/doors (If I remember right you have to lower the shields for this). Wait for the 'wave' on both sides of the base to stop and then run in. Talk to the commander. If you are not fast enough leaving and waves start again, wait for the waves to stop while you hide in the base (watch the overhead map). Sometimes they will not see you inside the base. Leave the base and go back to the village with the commander in tow. (don't get on your bike, or run so fast you leave him)

Center of being is the key if you get caught in a wave. If you lose him at the base and have aggro, lose the aggro and he will just stay where you left him. You can come back and pick him up between waves again.

Two people are only needed in order to get the bonus items.
