I got Jedi Padawan just to unlock the additional character slot.

Is there a way to drop them after I become Jedi Padawan? I do not want to be a Jedi. But I want the slot.

No, that character will be a jedi forever. Just so you know, this system was implemented to give jedi another character so that they didn't have to just play their jedi all the time. Not a system for a free character to anyone that went through the grind. However, your padawan can still be a normal character, just at the sacrifice of the 24 points placed into force sensitive.

You need to think long and hard before you decide to not go the Jedi route. When you hit Padawan, you get negative jedi xp upon death (capped at - 10 million) There have been soome players who did what you are thinking of doing, dropped all their Jedi skills, and later wanted to train as a Jedi. Guess what? If you don't have novice Lightsaber, all you can use is a training Lightsaber. A training lightsaber does under100 Jedi XP per kill. That's a pretty big hole to dig out of getting so little xp per kill. Some of these accounts ended up on EBAY and are worthless as a Jedi toon.

the reason you can't drop you fs skills is simply because, fs skills are kind of likethe jedi novice skill boxes.

You cannot drop Padawan... but that doesn't mean you have to keep making him a Jedi. Just pick a template for your main that doesn't go over 226 skill points & don't look back. If you're worried about building up negative Jedi xp make your main a non-combat char.
