Whatis the best and fastest way to get it done w/o nades? i want to have it done before the combat upgrade.

Speaking of grenades, I bought about 800k worth of em and I'm finding it's very costly as I only gain about 30 to 40k more combat xp per cap. Is there a technique I'm missing? I thought I should be doubling combat xp.
