Thread: Phase 4 Quest bug? Who says so?

Oh this is priceless! At last all those insane grenade huckers are getting a reality check. 'Waaaah i spent 4 motnhs of my life grinding this to be screwed over'. At what point did anyonethink this was a bug??? Lets be honest Jediseems like itshanded to everyone on a plate - well those who'd spend 4+ a day grinding and all those drones now complain because they can't do a specific quest! Who said you'd have any right to do that quest after doing his first one???? Where is that written.
You all assumed that it would be a given - well /cheer that Jedi isn't as mind numbingly straightforward as it would appear. I don't believe this was a bug or code error its just people assuming that they'd stroll through the Jedi grind as easily as anything.
Good job devs! Keep your silence and keep a little mystery to getting Jedi. We can see already who lacks the patience!

I ain't gonna start a flame war with ya....but this is beyond me. First and foremost, there is NOTHING about getting Jedi that is easy. I have been in or part of every aspect of it with the exception of the trials for padewan. Many of the quests and things you have to do are extremely difficult, and for people that can't play as much as say...someone who hasn't got a job, attends school or has a life outside of the SWG realm........it can take much, much longer than "mind numbingly straightforward" suggests.
No matter how you slice it, becoming a Jedi takes huge amounts of actual real life time that you must spend in order to attain the goal. That is something that everyone who is striving for it has accepted and agreed to. And we have all for the most part agreed that the road will be long. So be it.
I fail to see though what part of any of this translates into "strolling through this as easy as anything"

(1) Where do they admit its a bug? Show the thread.
(2) Jedi isn't hard just massively time consuming. Quests are easy but time consuming and xp is easy but time consuming. I agree its hard to be that committed but only if RL affects it....which for many ppl here doesn't seem to be a problem.

Here's a quote from a CSR I just spoke with. It's not much, but at least they are apparently aware of the situation.
"I actually have heard of it, Star, and unfortunately I don't have any new info about it. There's a team of us working on potential CS fixes for it, but we haven't found any. Devs also working on it from their side, but I know a bit less about their progress"
I mentioned Warr's idea of posting CSRs in the village....he responded with "That's not possible, unfortunately. If we roll back an FS quest, we break the character at this point."
Keep making noise. Most servers aren't shfted yet, so hopefully they'll push an emergency fix which will both fix the issue and force a village shift.

Well I just spoke to a CSR about it and she took down all the details to report to the Devs with. Hopefully we will get some sort of statement on it soon.
I really hope we do because if it is indeed the case that you are only allowed to take one of these quests & I have to become Jedi without the Melee Defence tree then I think it will be too much of morale crusher for me to continue

well u really are a *******! did u ever think of the other ppl who actually spent some time in it...i mean if some1 started from phase 1 than had to wait till next phase 1 and next phase 4....With normal combat skills! I mean i cant get it and i worked so hard on it... call ti whtvr the fook u want but u sir must learn that the ppl who r grinding jedi r one of the hardest working players inagme and ur talkin about givin it on a silver platter have u ever SEEN how much there goes in ther!
ur talking about patience...Most ppl r workin on it for 3/4 months...i think thats enough patience!

Oh be quite troll... people are very disapointed about this problem... they want to get there jedi unlocked and need this branch... its not fair to them...
