I agree with you but there is no point posting here.

Not trying to have a go but I think because of the solo culture in this game people forget how to group. Someone needs to take charge and 99.9% of the time if someone does people will listen (eventually).

I honestly think a lot of people are just unaware of this fact & think they have to kill the mob to register 'the kill'. Group leaders should inform all their group as invited that they only need to hit em once & by asking other group leaders in the village to do the same I'd bet a large majority of the time it would run like clockwork. Of course there's always gonna be the odd idiot or ass but hey /shrug.

Not trying to have a go it's just that I think we all sometimes forget how to communicate on the rare occasions we need to actually group & work as a team for quests because 99% of the time every thing can be soloed.

sorry flucka.. I 100% disagree with you here.. I was in this quest today.. around 40 people.. 10 people were shouting between the downtime and explaining that fact.. nobody really listened. that has nothing to do with leadership but with information of the people who are doing the village quest..

That just remembers me when we were on dathomir, hunting enrage rancors in group. There was always a noob who was taping the lair until the whole group got killed. The only way to protect the group was to kick that person. Sad but true.

It is a good thing, that someone made this posting. Maybe the next group leader reads it and informs the group members and all others, which are doing this quest.

cheers

Also, the same needs to be true for the healers!!!! If one person is running around throwing stim-E's on everyone in sight, and combat lasts a few milliseconds because of the large number of people there, then guess what? Only one person is getting any credit. Sadly, there are too many people who care about no one other than themselves.

I don't think the motivation is selfishness, I think folks that do this just aren't reasoning their way through this quest, or are ignorant of the requirements.

Someone doing this is not only preventing those around them from getting a tag in, but they are also wasting their own time but not moving on to another,
these are points that are self-evident, but maybe don't occur to less seasoned players.

Just keep passing the message along, it will sink in.

I entirely agree and as this is supposed to be an MMORPG the theme should be working together and helping eachother but that is a problem with this game/storyline that needs to possibly be addressed.

I do have a question though - as I understand it a player, after hitting a Sith once or twice with a weak weapon, must reamin near that Sith and wait for it to die before receiving credit for the kill, is this correct? If it is, then how does one move on to the next Sith while still getting credit for the one they just "tapped"? I realize sometimes they are right next to eachother but not always so was just curious

There are only so many Outlaws and Pirates.
PLEASE.

Once you get a hit in, Peace out and give other people time to get a hit in. I know somebody's gotta kill them eventually, but there is no point in players solo killing the spawns that everybody needs. Play nice.

Thanks that you made this posting. Otherwise I would had to make it.. It is very selfishly, when people believe, they have the urge to kill all of them..
Especially at the start of phase 4.

As starcrusher said, hit once, hit peace get the kill. This way, many others which do this quest will also have a chance to get their kills.

now in slowmode, so everybody can understand it...

[slowmode]hit once (with your weakest weapon), hit peace, go to the next[/slowmode]

cheers and thanks for all those, who were not able to unlock in a short time as I was.

Exi
