people say this is one of the toughest missions in the game for a reason. I was lucky and had an amazing group when I did it. If you aren't prepared, this one will eat you alive.

I remember the first time people ever attempted this mission and we all died many times before we figured it out. I can practically solo the thing now since I learned the secrets of it. If you go with a big group you will get smoked, so keep it to around 2 or 3 good players with you. I did it with one other person. Draw out one at a time and get your five guys killed off to draw out the commander. If you haven't seen a pattern in how the sith spawn by now pay attention. They will dissappear after a couple minutes and then respawn. It gives you a few seconds to run into the base. Once you are inside, capture the commander and wait for the next spawn of sith to appear and then dissappear. When they dissappear make a run for it. You can do this from any of the bases if you don't waste too much time after dropping the shield. If you take too long he will die from poison. Once you have him, just keep heading for the village. Have one person focus on getting there and nothing else. Everyone else needs to look out for sith thugs popping up.

When I did it we didn't even have to fight the thugs. I just drew them off of the runner who had the commander and then when he was a little ways away I ran to catch up. There used to be a guide listed in these forums for it, but thise worked for me pretty well. Just be careful and be smart and you can do it easy...

this mission isnt supposed to be soloed, if you have a good group, you can take any base, anywhere on the planet, without burstrun or een terrain negotiation, i had a jedi knight, a finish templated jedi, a pikeman and a pistoleer with me for this one (myself being a tkm/m medic), and it was simple, the pikeman taunted and intimidated, while the cm stayed peaced and spammed area heals, while the jedi did the killing, while this was going on, i took down the gates and rescued the commander, and walked of with a jedi, then the others got away and caught up with me, at that point the jedi fell back to take care of any aggro on the group, while the 2 regular proffs stayed with me

Its a joke that this quests cannot be solo'd. I don't particularly like working with others as I am sure other people are like-minded. Waste of time, load of toss.

i hate to differ this mission is a piece off ----

i done it 4 times yesterday with guildies without a problem at all ....... biggest grp was 4

tip 1 read the guides ..........

and for our loner friend u are mistaken ,if u can solo a sith thug u can solo the mission...just pull the 5thugs u need one at a timekill em......

grab the commander w8 till sith despawn.... run like fuk.....and roberts your mothers brother.

the mistake most people make when trying this quest is they fight the sith ....it can be done but that way but it takes a serious grp . if u are fast enuf u wont get any agro . once more for the cheap seats ,read a guide

ps if u think im talkin out my arse ill happily supply the names of the people who ive helped to do it

i agree, it can be soloed it is all about the timing..before i take the shield down i blow the turrets.. take the shields down and blow the gates and antenna.. kill the sith, wait for despawn capture commander.. escape.. my mistake on last try was i waited too long and buffs ran out on way to village.. bad news.. plus i was 9k from village. commander died halfway back from poison

This quest was a big curveball for us. We're used to the cheeseball quests that involve killing a few weak Sith. We died twice before realizing this was going to be tough. We got it the third time though.

A rifleman lured the thugs one by one to us (2 TKM, 1 Jedi), and after 5 were dead, the Jedi confronted the thugs and took out the gate/turret. I ran inside, captured the commander and walked him back. The jedi had +25 group terrain negotiation, so needless to say, it was way simple with him there.

I did it saturday and sunday, Saturday, i died like 5 times and did not complete it, i did get most locations for my server , and most shield disks, but thats about it, sunday was interesting tho, I went with a couple of friends and did it again, we went, i took down the shield and all, and we went and stormed the base, while my other 2 friend made it inside the base , I stayed outside drawing fire, unfortunatly, they eventually overpowered me , and I died, I got the message, that i had failed the mission, I cloned , got buffed and returned to the same base, right on time to help my buddy take the commander back, this is when it gets weird, when he got the commander back to aurilla, i got no message or anything saying that i completed the mission, but I did get the crystals for reward, I went and talked to the capt. and he says the same old thing, what i needed to do to complete the quest, so I figured id do it again, i had 3 more radio's so i was good. we went to another base and repeated, this time I managed to get inside the base , kill the 5 thugs, and spawn the commander, I go and talk to the commander and he takes the pill and everything, and what happens, he does not follow me, at all. So i go back to aurilla real quick, find myself another quester that needs to unlock, we get back to the base, and he grabs him, and we start walking back to the village, commander dies on the way to village, but it never syas that I failed the mission, SOOOOO, i grab another crew, to do the whole thing again, I give all my keys to one of my guildies for her to complete the mission, and we go and whip ass, and what happens, I still dotnt get credit for mission. So i decided to test a theory, I went and talked to Paemos and he told me that Melee accuracy was unlocked, of course I did not believe him, so I went and had some Combat xp converted, and got melee accuracy one trained up, But on my quest log, the mission is not complete. I figured , i got credit when I got the crystals, it just did not update my quest log.
