Thread: Phase 3 Ranged Defense trouble

ok this is my second day..i am doing this phase 3 ranged defense stuff and i am trying to find the radiant thing for the thug's base...but all i get is weak signal....every where i go weak signal...omg i have been all over dathmir...do i need to planet hope for this phase or something?

I assume that means you've done the first 3 (day 1) missions. If so, I had a problem on day 3 with mission 9 where I was able to pickup the trail, only for it to disappear. The best reading I could get (in all directions) was about 1 or 2 on the rad sensor. I was looking for the base for about 30 mins before it told me the mission was complete.
I guess the only other thing you can do is have another go after a log off.
Day 2 for me... I log in around 3, get my alt in, mind buff/doc buff, go to dath. I enter the village, grab my first quest, everywhere I go it was red. 2.5 hours later, it just completed me, I didn't see a camp, I didn't see any sith, I just got a wp to daegern at the village. Next trip out took me 20 minutes, third trip was a wp... This phase is obviously borked on this mission, but I can deal with it, only 2 more camps to go and I have the night off... Now if only this last 50 minutes would hurry up and tick by.

Just make sure your heading in a direction that is getting you closer. You may have to turn just a tad bit one direction or the other. I had one that sent me heading South, then brought me back North North East, go figure. When you get within 64 meters, the transponder updates tell you that your within 64 meters. I use my radar map to see what's out there. See a Sith Pirate up ahead, head that way, transponder updated, found my base.

okay, you head toward the area if its green it will give you an indicator like
15.25 if it goes negative you are goign in the wrong direction..
if you are continually positive and then it switches to negative it is probably behind you..
The spawns are only 700-1500m away from teh village.
