Just wondering if you have heard anything about them letting us respec our skills along with the rest of the combat profs?

Only combat profession are getting the Respec. Being that FS is exp benefitting a profession, I doubt they will as it is not in itself a "profession". Another way you could look at it too is that it would be an instant Jedi for many people if they were allowed to respec their FS. They want to slow the process not help more people along the way....

how would it be an instant jedi? If the only skills you could respec were FS for other FS skills. Its not like people are sitting on 24 boxes of FS skills right now. Regular profs get respec, jedi get it, why not the middle man? Makes no sense.

Lets look at it as if you had5 unlocks heading into phase 4 but would not unlock(6th)until phase 3 on the go around again. Trade in the phase 4 (since I already have it)for the phase 3(12 week wait) and thennow I only need to unlock myphase 4 again (1-2 days) If they allow the respec of FS skills they are pretty much making alot of people instant Jedi........Although I see your point I doubt the Devs will do it based on this reason. They want to slow the progression down not make it any easier for folks.

and with the nade grinders, there are plenty of people sitting on banked capped exp just waiting for the phase change, so basically they are sitting on 24 boxes complete.

There really is no need to respect fs, if you did any research and planing, ya should just carry on as before. If ya made a mistake, then all ya gotta do is grind out a 7th branch, then drop the one you don't want.

First thing. All they would have to do is A) make is so you cant respec into something you dont have unlocked or B) if you do respec into smoething you did not unlock, you other box becomes locked.

And as far as planning goes, well some people have FS skills that are not going jedi, say if I am master tkm/master swords and have FS melee accuracy and speed and now I am respecing to master carbs/pistols, I should be able to trade in my melee speed and accuracy for range.

FS is not a Profession such as Swords or Pistols. It is an added skill/benefit. It is not somethingrequired from the get go to bring you to the level in combat/crafting you were before. You would do just fine with the 250 points into professions. Why should they give FS a respect being that it gives enhanced benefits. Just because you want to change your profession doesnt mean they should allow you to reallocate your FS skills to match that new profession. Like I said before I do see your argument, but FS is not a profession so they will prob not give a respec..FS was designed to be the beginning of the entry to Jedi. Many people who do not want to pursue Jedi take the boxes for their added bonus's and stop there. that is their choice, not requirement. If they do decide to give FS a respec, you can prob bet it will come with some harsh penalties seeing as they are making Jedi Knights drop the title and redo the knight trials if they want a respec. It would have to balance....

Ok but everything in the game is there to enhance something else, make something else better. I dont really feel like going in circles, we all made points and have our own views. I just want to know if SonGouki has heard anything. But chances are if he did he cant tell us anyway. My thought is that if they are gonna allow it then they dont want everyone to know cause they would start getting the low level skills and trade for higher.
