Perhaps someone can clear some things up for me.

1.) I'm a MBH/Master Carbineer 0/4/0/4 Pistols. Lightsaber/Jedi is melee, and I have absolutely no melee experience. Just ranged accuracy, ranged defense, etc. How is this going to play into my Jedi? Do I need to unlearn this, and learn swordsman, or TKM or something?

2.) Since I have no medic abilities, can I learn healing from FS, and will it have any effect?

3.) My intentions are to gain a speedy, damaging attack, with good defense, and some good healing. What steps in FS do I need to take to achieve this?

4.) Do I have to learn every tree/skill box available in FS, or do I chose? If so, what quests open the ones I want? Speed, damage, defense, healing

1) Rerolling to a melee class might help you grind through jedi, with better melee speed and defence(not sure, may want to check the jedi boards), but as far as playing into your jedi you will drop all of your old proffessions once you finish your jedi template so they really don't matter in the end.

2) Healing is under Heighten Sences and I beleive you need to be either doc or combat medic to do the healing quest.

3) Well I've ready that the FS skills really have no effect on your character at this time however I would try to get melee speed, melee accuracy, melee defence, and ranged defence. What to get for the last two has always been a matter of debate, but like I said from what I've read they do not really affect your template very much if at all.

4) You need to do a total of 6 quests (1 quest per phase). Those will open up one line each then you an train in the four boxes for that line using FS xp. See the link below for who gives which quest.

If you have not already done so I really recommend that you take a look at the Jedi Path Revamp guide http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Forcesensitive&message.id=33406
