Thread: Questions RE-Melee Accuracy Commander Quest
Actually thought of something else-
I take it that as the waypoints to the bases are posted on the forums that you dont need the waypoint data disk to do the quest, just the shield remote>?
Also when you power down the shield how long does it stay down for
and lastly once a remote is used to power down the shield is it a one use or can it be used again if the shield goes back up?
1. Yes the remote will work for that base.
2. You can have FS or Non FS help you. I would highly reccommend you bring help a long. It would be tough to do a lone unless you are full template ranged and are GOOD. Even so youll still have to fight off sith that attack randomly on the walk back and without others helping to kill youll have to stop moving which will kill your time in turn probably causing the commander to die
Hope this helps

Tried this several times last night and died. Before i do it again i have a few questions
1-If i have a remote that has a base name on it will it definately work on the shield on that base.
Nothing in this game does definitely work but that's the way it should work, yes.
2-Am i right in thinking a non force sensitive can help me but i need to both power down the shields and escort the commander(not bothered about the extra item just feel i will die if i try it alone)
thanks
The Commander will only follow the player who converses with him so you would have to do that part because a non-FS couldn't walk the Commander all the way to the village (he would bounce off the shroud). A non-FS should be able to take the shields down though if you trade the remote to him. However, I'd get an FS player to help you because of the extra reward upon completing the mission as a team.

Exactly. If you already know the WPs from the forums or by figuring out the names on your own then you can delete the WP disks.

Haven't tested this yet because I actually wanted to succeed every time I did this mission
but they should stay down for a very long time (possibly the whole 2 hours that are mentioned here in regards to base reset).

It's a 1 use item. The remote goes poof after use.
