Go commando AND ranger. 
Grenades for Combat XP. And Skinning = Scout XP. You can do both at the same time.

Except Scout xp gives senses XP, wich you will have to grind SOLELY with scouting xp, a bad move...
Go MBH/MPistols/Grenadier, and use all types of nades, because they all are on separate timers. Get in big groups, only throw nades when there are 4 mobs or less so you group (and you) don't die. That's about it, good luck.

Scouting AND Trapping XP should you choose to do it. I capped out at 1.24 mil FS Senses XP in about 6 hours, doing Just scouting XP. Not trapping XP. (in double-XP week, of course)

You can't fill all your 6 tiers with just combat xp, right? There's only 4. I mean, at some point you're gonna have to fill boxes in Heightened Senses or Enhanced Reflexes. So why not fill them with scouting xp?, it's not hard to get and when you're hunting creatures it's right there in front of you.

Enhanced reflexes works off of combat XP as well. So you have 8 tree choices. Ooohhh, I just made you happy!
