Force Sensitive Archive

Just went "glowing". Read through all of the old man posts I could find. Still have a couple of questions that I couldn't find answers to.

1. Is the old man an NPC that just walks right up to you or a player controlled character?
2. Does anyone have a pic of the old man? Of the Sith that follow?
3. Originally when force-sensitive characters were introduced to SWG, you would unlock a force-sensitive slot and have to create another character all together. Is this still the case or is your original character just become force-sensitive?
4. If you do have to make a new character, when in the process is this done?

I'm a new glowy but read up on the forums yesterday while waiting for the old man (who still hasn't shown yet).

1.) An NPC with the name "an old man" minus the quotation marks.
2.) Nope and I've not seen the sith yet.
3.) The character you are glowy with is Force Sensitive. Once you unlock padawan you get your other character slot (I think that's how it works.) I.E. My Master Smugg/Master Pistoleer Now .. will become jedi, and if I want to continue those professions, Once I get my other character slot, I'll make them Master SMugg/Master Pistoleer.
4.) See number 3!

I think this is correct. It's about what I read yesterday. (I read ALOT in here.) Some of the more knowledgeable ones here can correct me if I"m wrong.

Hmm. Still not understanding the answer to question 3. Am I able to continue on to Jedi with my current character or will I have to create another one? If I can keep my current character, am I going to have to give up my current professions? If anyone can shed some light on this for me, it would be much appreciated. The more detail, the better. Thanx.

You carry on and become a Jedi with your current character. You can keep your current skills at the outset, but you'll have to drop them to free up skill points to start training in Jedi skills - same as switching to any other template really.

When you become Padawan you then have the option of starting a completely new character on your server who isn't a Jedi or FS. You can then make that character anything you want.

I have zero skill points left. Do you know how many skill points I'm going to have to free up for Jedi? I'd like to start planning as much as I can now. Thanx.

If you want to have a fully templated Jedi, then you will have to spend all your skillpoints on Jedi skills (24 of which are Force Sensitive skills) .

When you say all skill points, do you mean all skill points? Meaning if I'm going to be a full on Jedi, I can forget about any other profession I may have been interested in or already have.
