Not really sure how I can accomplish this considering that I'm a pure crafter and am going to be useless completing the content badges, not to mention fighting the sith to get into the camp. Any other pure crafters out there have some suggestions about the best way to do it...and no, dropping crafter and picking up combat isn't really an option.

Hey there. I can help you since I got Dawg Mann there myself. All you need are 15 extra skillpoints. Here's what I did.

I went to Mos Eisley and took the new player content quests. The ones you get the badges from are from the Mayor. He will send you to talk to people who represent the main starting professions. So start with the Marksman one, when you get the badge, drop Marksman and take up Entertainer. Do those quests, rinse repeat for each one.

Then you might just need one more. I would recommend having a friend walk you through Nyms or Jabba's themepark.

Viola you will be glowy.

Hit me up in game on Etese or Dawg if you need more help.

ok i was a pure crafter from the SWG release then i got it in my head to become a Jedi for the same reasons i wanted to build and sell lightsabers. so far i have not gotten jedi or a lightsaber yet and don't even know if you can sell them. anyway i got glowy while i was master weaponsmith merchant and here is how you do it. i didn't use the newbie quests but those are easier than i what i did. i mooched i followed closely behind a group of 80's though the warren got those two, all the poi's are easy just run up. i got too the pool under fort tusken among all the chaos. and i had just barely enough combat to get though the rebel and jabbas themeparks and i got a friend to help me though the three caves for nym's. Voila i was glowy but it ain't the end. Wait for the old guy to give you your force crystal. Then head to Dantooine and jump into a picket grinding group. and grind with them any wapon will do just hit each picket once for at least 1 damage and wait for your group to kill it you'll get the 5k group experience. The whole time you are also protected from two lone sith. eventually (about 30 to 60 minutes for me) they will come. your group will kill them with little coersion (thats means persuation for those with a slighty more limited vocab) once you loot the corpses and get a camp waypoint the group would love to get their hands on more sith so bring em along. then voala you can go to the FS village. once there get a few people to do missions with. or do the crafting quests yourself. you get bonuses for doing all the quests to unlock a branch if you do all the missions in a group. Group up before anyone talks to get the quests. its practicly a free ride to jedi.

lol well a free ride to Force Sensitive. If there was any type of free rides to Jedi I think they would have to form single file lines to stop the madness.

Between Jabba's and Nym's, I'd have to say Nym's. That is the quickest themepark badge out there from my experience. You need to retrieve 3 items in 3 different caves on Lok. The longest part about it is the drive to the caves. The parts you need to grab are at the bottom so you must run to the bottom of the cave and pickup the items. Be careful, because some of the items are automatically put in your inventory. You do not actually pick them up. When I first did this I thought I did something wrong because I would open a magchest and nothing would be in there. Took me a few minutes to notice that the item had been placed in my inventory. I know I solo'd Nym's at CL60. Nothing agro'd me at that level. You might have problems with agro so get a friend to go along. At least with Nym's it is very fast, not like Jabba's where it can take hours to complete all the missions. Nym's you can do very fast so it might be easier to find someone willing to help you out.
