Thread: Best profession-combination for xp grinding?

well your choice would depend entirely on how your gonna grind are you gonna solo group or all out group or jsut solo.
i'd recommend going to Dnat and group for pickets and bols wil alot of people the group bonuses are awesome (an extra 5k Xp is nice for being in a large group.) if you doing that i'd suggest getting commando 3000 so you can use imperial detonators that way when you tank does th area attack and draws all the target to himslef you use one grenade and hit all of them. then use a flame trower or pistol to do more damage but you will get the group bonus for all the pickets and not just othe ones you shoot.
if solo grouping go TKA and Docor swordsman/Doc or MBH/Doc so you can heal yourself and still do massive damage
and all out solo be Swordsman/Pistoleer/Doc trhat way you have all the bases covered. what will also help is read the combat upgrade update notes and check out the cobamt schematics in the index. Grab a line of Ranger for the Scouting XP. 8 to 1 trade-in ratio, and you can rack it up quickly while working on combat skills.
I've got MBH / 0040 Ranger / 4443SL and canearn about 125k Senses FS XP and 100k Combat FS XP each capped trip to the Village. Hard to beat that.
Heh after the previous discussion on this template I decided to try it out. Don't have the Ranger line yet as the trapping xp took awhile...You did say this temp was lvl 80 right?

Just posted this in another thread but my favorite is:
- Teras Kasi Master
- Master Pikeman
- Swordsman 0400
- Fencer 4000
That one gets you 170K FS XP per trip and you are actually a pretty strong toon on your own and CL80. The other option is something like this:
- Teras Kasi Master
- Pikeman 0400
- Swordsman 0400
- Fencer 4000
- Smuggler 0040
This one gets you 210K FS XP per trip but has a couple drawbacks. I don't believe that template gets you to CL80 and the other downfall to it is that you won't have an area attack for the pistols XP so you will have to tab around to get that each time (which is a pain in the arse).
