Thread: Can I unlock my 2nd toon and drop these crappy FS skills?

I do NOT want jedi. I wish they wern't in the game...hated the holo when they came out, and saw the decline of the game over this crap.
I would like another character, though. So at what point can I get the 2nd toon, then drop all Yedi related skills?
Never found an answer on FAQ's or forum searches.

you'll get your 2nd toon after completing the padawan trials. but you can't drop any of the fs boxes, so 24pts wasted on your main.
a small price to pay for a 2nd toon imo.

If your main character gives up his Jedi profession, you lose your 2nd toon.

Ok let me get this togeather...
1. Once I get the 2nd toon, even if I create it, equip it and it has a house; if my main drops Jedi skills the 2nd character poofs.
2. FS skills can not be dropped.
I know #2 is wrong, I remember a post on Jedi switching FS boxes by learning a new tree and dropping an old one. Unless this changed since the village was added.
Still holding out for someone who tried this, or has a link to Dev posts.

The above answer is correct. You must keep 24 boxes of FS skills. You can NOT drop them and retain your second character. 24 skill points will be used up on your main. You get the second character when you pass your trials. Maybe not the answer you want but it is the right answer.

You don't, this is the Jedi system, not the unlocking-a-second-character system.

No, you can't. You are going to have spent 24 SP that you can't drop

there were no FS skills before the village though, so that had to happen POST village
and he meant he gained the new line, THEN dropped the old one...

You must maintain 24 boxes at all times. the only way this was done was to fill and entire 7th tree first, then drop the unwanted branch.
