depends on what you want to do really. if unlocking sooner rather than later and getting on with jedi is the important thing then grind out your exp as quick as you can and unlock as soon as you can. if youd rather have the exact template that you want you should wait it out. it will probably take you that long just to get the 1.9 mil exp you need

That will be the problem. how to train up that 7th full branch after finishing your temp. You cannot drop any of the 24 boxes unless you have a 7th 4th tier box. You will have to do it using non cert weapons and will take forever to get anywhere doing it. Think the FS grind is a pain now, try it without the caps you have now. Not as easy as it may seem. What I would do. Wait the phases for the Ranged Defense trees. Some say it doesnt matter you dont need it. just wait till you get hunted by a BH with ranged arms and you do not have aura or any other defenses in your temp. not everyone wants to have defender in their temp. Any extra bit will help. As a jedi you cannot wear any armor so any +'s you can get will help.

If I were you, I would take the time in between these phases to go kill some krayts and collect as many pearls as you can. MANY will tune to crap. A friend of mine has had2 tune to aroundthe 90's but this was after tuning a ton of em 30+ Id say, the rest sub 50's to 20's. Only "good" pearls drop now so unless you had a bunch of premiums/flawless from Pre Cu or have a fat wallet, I would wait and get what I can get now.

train all the boxes. if you max out your FS and can fill your boxes before you get to the skills you want. screw it. Train.

If you still have not maxed out your FS for the branch you want and still need more FS exp and the skill you want shows up. Then open it up. Remember you do not need to put the xp into the box until the very end.

I had to make the same choice, I decided not to wait because I don't want to be grinding both of my characters when the new expansion hits.

Get six trees, who cares what they are in. 20 ranged defense isn't a big deal. You can be almost full temp in the 6 weeks you waited.

Do what you want to do. It's your game and your toon. If your woried about them changing the path to Jedi that much, then finish your grind and keep everything banked to be able to become Jedi at the anouncement. Otherwise it's up to you. Personally I can unlock next phase. I doubt I will actually unlock for another few phases because I'm having fun right now doing quests and hunting Blask Suns for Mando Armor. Just remember that if you do unlock you will be setting yourself up for another huge grind. Don't burn yourself out, just have fun. The only person you sould listen to is yourself and what you want.

Seriously though, I really feel bad for anyone with like 4 or 5 unlocks, or who wasted their time grinding all that exp for nothing. You have my deepest sympathy guys.
