Well, I have decided I dont want Jedi bad enough and just love my current template too much to change it. My question is, if I drop FS boxes, will I lose all of that xp? (you never know I might have a change of heart later )

Yes, you will lose all the xp used on the boxes.

So you would have to grind it all back.

You should just keep what you got if it is helping your current template, and then pick up if you change your mind.

You cannot surrender individual FS box’s, however I think if you surrender being FS all together you can get your skill points back.

I myself consider this because I am short skill points to complete my template. The FS skills I loved so much pre-cu got nerfed big time.

You can surrender FS skills. I did it myself because a while ago (back when we were saying "space is going to be cool!") I had only 2 boxes grinded but needed 1 more SP for the temp I wanted, and I wasn't planning on getting jedi then. So I dropped a box, and now many months later, i'm almost a jedi lol

You should keep the boxes if you think that you might change your mind later on.

Yup, I was able to surrender one tree (4 boxes) and regain those skill points. My template is now back to master pikes, tkm, dancer 0040 (much me fun for me personally)and I was able to keep the ranged defence tree also

So is it possible to complete the FS tree, unlock the second character and then drop all the FS skills?

Point is, I want a 2nd char but I don't want to become Jedi.

No, once you complete the paddy trials and get the unlock your main chr is stuck with the fs trees. You can change them by training a newtree and then dropping one, but you MUST always have 6 full trees.

On the plus side, your alt is not hampered by the 226 sp limit /shrug
