This has probably been posted before (I'm almost positive it has been)... but is there any ETA as to when Shipwright experience will be allowed to convert for the crafting branches of Force Sensitivity? It's rather frustrating being a full time shipwright, spending a lot of time crafting, etc.. and not being able to convert that experience so that I may become a better crafter. Instead of I'm stuck picking up some other profession that I don't enjoy (such as architect) and grinding it up without any gain. If anything, it's a loss. A loss of resources, loss of a profession in which I'll drop as soon as I pick up, having to drop other professions to accomodate..
Perhaps I'm being too picky, but how long has JTL been out? Around a year now? And Shipwright still is broken in the sense of experience conversion...
Any valid input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Well they wanted the ground game and the space game to remain "separate". Even though shipwright is done on the ground, you can't become a shipwright without JTL (I could be wrong on that). In either case, if they let shipwright in, then they'd have to let Pilot XP in. And there goes the separation out the window

If that is the basis that they are using, then it's pretty poor. Pilot requires NO skill points to go from novice to master, whereas shipwright does, thus giving less opportunity for players to achieve a greater goal.
I can understand them making it seperate.. and if that's the way they want to go, then make it so that shipwright requires 0 skill points just like pilot. 'Til then, shipwrights should be given the opportunity to convert their experience just like other crafting professions.
I'm thinking that the real reason that shipwright cannot convert experience is because it came out, along with pilots, after the village came into place. And no one has felt like taking time into implementing xp conversion for shipwrights. /shrug
