I have been playing swg for well over a year now and am on the verge of canceling my account, Because SOE keep Pissing me off, Up to a few days ago i was well on my way to becoming a Jedi,
While i do agree that too many people are becoming Jedi..!!!!!
I think i deserve to become one,Because of the length of time paying for and playing this game.
All i needed was another 300,000 med force xp to fill my last box on the senses tree, which before the pub 21 would have taken me about 2 or 3visits to the village with my character having maxed out the med xp skill.
Now they have changed it to 30 to 1, It will take me 8 or9 visits,I am fed up of grind grind grind as it is, Its now gona take me 3 times as long to get there
Why cant sony put into effect some sort of time span before you can become a jedi, Say8 or 12 months or maybe longer, that way the people only just starting to play this game, dont get to jedi in a matter of 18 weeks or so.
SONY PLEASE RESPOND !!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont understand your complaint. You are about to hit THE easiest phase for gaining medical xp, sit at the village and join one of those groups that is pounding the sh1t out of the sith, rez people when they die and you dont even have to travel too far when you cap your xp!

Just wait till they reach Jedi and realize that a template requires 30,000,000 JediXP, and every kill (or heal) gives anywhere from 600 to 1100xp depending on CL.

I understand his complaints, i'm close to nov doc, i'm grinding the xp, and it pisses me off, because they raised combat (me and my greandes cry), they raised med, and now weapons is 30:1, who the he** wants to grind 1.2 million xp for 40k fs xp. I agree

The old conversion ratio was just a leftover from pre-cu days that they finally got around to fixing. Do you really believe that if you are earning it as fast as weapons xp, and you have the same xp cap, that you should have 3 times better of a conversion ratio?

Responding to the above, when u fight u get your weapon xp and comabt xp, when i heal all i get is med xp, I cannot convert weapon and combat xp into senses force
CAN I ?
Therefore Medics, combat medics and doctors should have a better ratio

Combat XP conversion ratio is 30:1 now. You only get 1/10 the combat xp as weapons xp. So, if you get 1.2 million weapons xp that means you get 120,000 combat xp. at 30:1 that is only 4,000 Jedi xp. Now, if medic xp was still 10:1, I'm guessing you can get 1.2 million if you are a master doctor since i've only been 4000 and didn't use it for my grind, that is 120,000 FS xp. Do you think getting 120,000 xp is the same as getting 44,000? Medic xp is fine.

I agree. You could definitely do the math and come up with the correct ratio to balance med and weapons xp conversion. It wouldn't be 10:1 though for medic xp, more like 27:1 or something like that (assuming weapons xp were to stay at 30:1 and combat xp at 30:1).

That's a very constructive thing to say, maybe somebody else is in need of doing a little growing up!

You are right. He should give upbefore he wastes too much more time on something he finds too difficult.
