Im aware that the different quests in the village for each phase will unlock adifferent fs branch.. Iwas wondering if someone can tell me if i should choose what quest i do in the village based on what helps my character now... or what will help me when im a jedi?

jedi for sure

get:

ranged def <- jedi skill
melee def <- jedi skill
melee acc <- jedi skill
melee speed <- jedi skill

then take 2 others that you want, none of those others will help your jedi

if i grind a quest htat has melee accuracy or some sort of melee enchancing brance... does that mean i can only covert the fs xp from melee xp? or can i convert ranged xp into a melee fs box?

all combat xp (ranged and melee) can be converted into reflexes and combat FS XP.

it is my opinion that they really are so insignificant that none of them provide a noticeable bonus at full template. melee/ranged defense, vehicle control, and survival are very helpful.
