Thread: What professions for grind FS XP now ?
but im dropping doc and im switching to swords i think.
Im of the same exact template, Master Brawler/TKM/Master Swordsman... and well my ratios are indeed a bit different...
only by three points, but, still different.
I came up with this: 1.2 mil Unarmed = 40K FS / 1.2 Mil Two-Hand = 40K FS / 200K Polearm = 6666 FS / 200K One-Hand = 6666 FS / 200K Pistol = 6666 FS / 200K Rifle = 6666 FS / 200K Carbine = 6666 FS / 300K Combat = 10000 FS for a nice grand total (If everyhing goes as planned and I can cap all of them) of 123330 FS XP where as before the Devs decided an easy fix to the combat xp ratio. I, like the rest of you were not having to resort to our other combat talents, or, lack there of, for a whopping 180000 FS per just Unarmed, Two-Hand, and Combat trade in.
Which had put me 5 village trips away from unlocking my Jedi.
Now that has doubled and in the most sense, almost quadrupled. Also, considering Patch 23 which is going to change the way group XP is now attained and they [the Devs, and/or SOE] have decided to revert back to the older style of group xp, where the biggest damage dealer will recieve the most amount of XP in the group.
Granted the group still beifits, but now you have to try to out-damage everyone esle in the group to get a decent amount of xp per kill.
So, since they 'tried' with this 'Combat Upgrade' to bring back the need to socialize by grouping with people to take on what many of us were used to soloing (pikets/huurtons/quenkers/mokks/baznitches/etc) they are going to once again nerf it to where it'll become, once again, more benificial to us to solo faction missions, or any mission that is indeed solo-able.
Granted, the amount of xp is decreased through soloing, but, hey with what they plan on doing to group xp is going to make it like when we all literaly started playing wether it would be at launch, or a few months after... and that is a slow grinding halt to almost non-attainable. Most of us have given up. I, however, am not giving up, and I'm a casual gamer now. So it'll probably be quite a while before I unlock.
Thanks alot all you Jedi who unlockd doing the Grenade Grind and now are full template eagerly awaiting the FRS to come back in full swing. You cried and got your way. And before the flames start by 'outraged Jedi. Remeber this : I, too, like you, are a paying customer. You unlocked your Jedi, everyone said congrats and smiled. Now, many of us who want to attain Jedi and realise that it is not an easy task, have to suffer even more because of YOUR complaints. Once again, Thanks
