I did my melee acc quest last night with a jedi friend, all went well and i captured the commander and he went off. So i am 150m away from village gettting excited about finishing it finally and then the commander DIES 
. i jus stood their frozen as the message to say i had failed came acroos the screen, i had just walked 9k.

OK, That sucks dude, I hope when I do it, it doesnt spawn too far away from villiage.

As far as i know, its an hour. i doubt it would've been changed just to p1ss off some FS people. You probably just took longer than you thought.

i dont think you actually have to bring him back just go on your speeder and talk to the person without him there.... thats what i did for all my jabbas escort missions

no quitch - you MUST guard him the complete way back to the village!

you must guard him and cannot go farther than 50-100m away from him

you have to be with him all the way. sith pirates attack you while you escort him back to try and get the guy back. if you are not with him, the sith will just take him back and you will fail. in future, get the facts straight before you tell people to do things which will jepordise their missions

Not only do Sith attack him but if you move more than 50-100 meters AWAY from the commander at ANY time for an extended ammount of time while doing the escort part of this mission the Commander WILL automatically ingest a poison and kill himself and you will fail the mission. You have no choice but to escort him back, just don't leave him!!

he has already ingested the poison. he eats it when you capture him at the base. if you read the text when you capture him he says he will never divulge anything then goes *munch* *crunch* or something like that. this is why you only have an hour to get back, he dies from the poison after the hour. i think you can go as far from him as you want cuz i burstran out of the base away from the thugs and he still followed me. the only problem once you capture him (apart from the hour time limit) is the pirates who try to get him back

well the pirates arent much of a problem, th problem is whether or not i can face doing all this again

I hate this quest, heh.
Me and a friend did it back on the previous Phase 3. We managed to get the commander out, and were walking towards the village. We got halfway there, then the commander just disappears. Funny thing is, my friend (who did the capture on him) was standing right next to him, when he just went *poof.*
