Good morning all...

If you did this quest the first time around, please post your experiences here. I'd like to hear things like:

1) How long did it take?

2) What template you used to complete?

3) What resources you needed?

Please include anything else you feel was important to this quest. I've never played any of the medic line past novice, so I'm a little cloudy on this one.

Thanks much!

Thanks for pointing out the guide once again. Read it many times. I would still like to hear from someone who has done the quest.

Anyone know if you can do a quest that you have previously completed to get the reward (plant) again?

Hi, and thanks for replying. No, I was specifically referring to the quest itself. I actually already have the exp. to train the branch.

Okay, I'll make the assumption you are referring to fs xp load up for all four boxes in the line, not the actual quest difficulity.

i did it, the guide is correct, good and bad floral and mineral and it's a cakewalk.

i found it easiest to just cure the highest level sicknees and work down, finishing off with the low stat stuff to cure the things i caused on the way and not worry about secondary effects.

Okay, I'll make the assumption you are referring to fs xp load up for all four boxes in the line, not the actual quest difficulity.

Note: I did *not* do Persuasion, but I *did* do luck.

I do know several folks on my server who did Persuasion (My orginial plan was to have pers and luck in my Jedi mix), and face the same xp fill problem that my TKM/Doc does with Luck, and this is the reason why I am *not* going to do persuasion next Phase I:

Really, really, really low cap on the medical xp.

80k med xp = 8k fs xp. That's over 200 trips to the villiage just to trade in xp for a tree. I do not care HOW you get that xp, that's quite a few trips. *blarg*

I know a few folks (exactly two) trying the combat Medic road to get fsxp (and areadisease/areaposn mobs on Dath to get their medical xp up); but even that has a slow, veriah slow rate of accural to max out xp.

To get the xp needed in anything like the time a combateer can, mostseem togo throughvariousexploits (duel/db/rez macros, buffpet/store/rebuffpet/repeat, or healing a pet tumbler).

That's the rub, from those who are doing these quests, and are NOT Rangers or alt-char Merchants (alt-char merchies can trade in merchant xp nicely, it's slow, but, hey... it's an alt that you don't spend massive time on).

Keep that in mind, whilst considering *what* you want to do in that phase.

Senses is the easiest (and one of the cheapest) branch to fill if you have a x4xx doctor and an alt (or a very patient friend) - if the alt/friend is fs as well, makes it VERY fast.

As to Silvarra's quest - yes I did it, took very little time once I was ready (must have xxx4 doctor and great and lousy flora/mineral resources). I spent less time doing the quest than I have since taking care of my plant

PS Once you get but before you finish the quest, you might want to make a bleeding cure schematic. Other non xxx4 doctors would probably pay really good credits for that medicine - do a factory run and sell off sets of 15.

Time requirements and difficulty aren't really a problem.

The only requirement is the proper resources and enough experimentation points to get the high cures.

I had a master doc help me hehe

This has been discussed in another topic already.Did any Master Medics solo this? Without the help of a Master Doc that is. In the other topic several people mentioned that you really got to be 0/0/0/4 in Doc to do this on your own.
