What you guys think, im interested to see what the speed difference is when throwing C12s with no Commando and Throwing them with the Tactics line. Anyone tested?

I've read on another post that 4000 Commando using imperial detonators nets you 1000 xp. Look for it or check the Commando forum.

I wasnt thinking about using other grenades, more the fact whether I could spam C12s every second instead of the 3 seconds or so it takes now.

commado 4xxx cuts in half the time to throw nades with out any commando skills. Oh and if u do this just get thermal detonators and go kill biz nitchs. You get 5k a kill and u do it very fast.

i think 4000 is not worth loosing skill points, if you want better accuracy, make master commando(+40)

best way to lower speed is good slicing

Some comments:

1) If you are 4-0-0-0 grenades why spend time on using 800+ grenades when you can use 2200 Imp detonators, 1800 (AP2) Thermals or 1500+ C22? Yes worth it for using those high dam grenades instead

2) If you target the lair accuray doesn't matter. You will hit every time anyway

3) Speed on grenades are bugged. it does not matter what thrown speed skill or speed on grenades you have.

Yeah with 4000 Commando using Imperial Detonators on Giant Baz Nitches you can get 300k FS xp in a buff session easy. If everything falls just right you can get up to 400k.

Imp detonators are Ap1 and usually 2200+ max dam, Thermals are 1800+ and AP2 (exact stats vary depending on resources used). With AP>AR you will get a 25% bonus damage for each level higher AP than armor level. BUT this only applies if the target has armor. You don't get the bonus if it is vulnerable to that damage type.

Not sure about hwo it works with creatures that are w/o armor but do have resists (if you examine it says Armor: none but have soem blast resistans). Does this count as being armored and becuase of that give you a damage bonus or still count as unarmored

if you get the AP bonus Imp detonators and Thermals are equally good. But if not then Imp detonators are better becuase of higher base damage.

Not sure why many say that Thermals are better. But Imp detonars are usually more expensive since they take a lot more steel (I sell my Thermals for 45k an d Imp det for 60k / crate)

Okay, so i got it! Im using Thermal Dets now and omg...

Its amazing, hitting Baz nitches for around 2k+ at a time and racking up the combat xp.

I also got 0010 Smuggler for FD, run up tap a lair once then FD next to it, wait for all the critters to spawn then stand. Doing this i get around 10-14 critters agroing me at a time and simply lob Thermals at the lair, its amazing, capping Combat xp so fast. You gotta try it.

I am going 4000 Commando too for the better nades and to try out Commando in general.

I want to know if I can slice the grenades as well. Do I have to split the 5-set packs of grenades into single to slice them or can I slice a set of 5 at a time?? The last being at bit more bearable then having to split them all up and slice individually.
