Is this quest farily easy? i've done all the quest for Combat and Reflexes... if someone that has completed this quest give me a brief guide on how to do it, or a link to another thread, that would be great

Thank You

I am also looking for more details on this quest. Specifically any experiences or info NOT CONTAINED in the various guides linked in this forum. Believe it or not, these guides are not exhaustive.

Actually, having done the phase 1 senses quest (SIlvarra's that unlocks persuasion and also gives you the necklace and Aurellian Plant) - the guides actually ARE exhaustive.

You really need to be at least a xxx4 doctor to do them, and have both great and lousy quality flora/mineral resources. It was VERY easy once I read the guides.

Treat 5 villagers for the unlock, 5 additional for the necklace, 5 more for the plant. To treat a patient you just talk to a droid (and when you complete a patient the droid resets so you never need to talk to more then one droid). Each patient has about 7 things wrong with them, treat the last mentioned one first and work your way up. A medicine can cure up to 2 different things and can cause a 3rd new problem. You can experiment the primary cure, secondary cure or residual (exp-ing on the residual removes the added problem). The following is a chart as to which % experimentation maps to which cured disease:

fever = 0-8% experimentation
vomiting = 8-16% experimentation
open sores == 17-25% experimentation
puss filled lesions = 25-33% experimentation
erratic heart rate = 33-41% experimentation
respiratory failure = 42-50% experimentation
lost vision = 50-58% experimentation
partial paralysis = 58-66% experimentation
violent spasms = 67-75% experimentation
bloody cough = 75-83% experimentation
swelling = 83-91% experimentation
internal bleeding = 92-100% experimentation

It is best to bring high end resources (5 flora and 10 metal per med) for most medicines, and some extremely low end resources (it's OQ 66% PE 33%) for fever/vomiting, otherwise your assembly % will start too high to get them. If you have a friendly doc who is currently doing the quest then they can create schematics for the medicine and run them in a factory, beware however, as they do not stack in crates. And they must be currently working on the quest, when you finish you lose the base schem and can't create any new meds. With just Novice Doc I was able to experiment up to partial paralysis with high end resources, but to get the top 4 you need some or all of the doc crafting chain.

Ok, there are two things missing - one, you do need to be a xxx4 doctor at least, and it's best if you have a droid with a food/med crafting station.

After you take the quest, you'll talk to Silvarra's droid. The droid will tell you "Oh, the patient has fever, lost vision, swelling and internal bleeding" (usually a few more than that but pretty random). You then pull out your food crafting tool and start to craft medicine. You always want to cure the worst problem first (ie, the one that takes the highest experimentation). After you craft using the great resources, you go to experiment mode and since you used good stuff, it may already be at the 20% mark (and will say "Primary cure: Cures Open Sores"). As you put more experiment points in, the primary cure will change, you may start gettnig a secondary cure and a side-effect. Don't worry about the side effect. So after putting all your points in and getting great or amazing results, you may have a medicine that Primary cures bleeding, secondary cures erratic heart rate and side effect: Vomiting.

Give this medicine to the droid, and get the new list of symptoms which will be "Fever, vomiting, lost vision, and swelling". The fact the patient didn't have erratic heart beat doesn't matter. And that you have now given the patient vomiting is no big deal. Keep going, making something that cures swelling, and then lost vision. And at the end, use crappy materials to cure the fever and vomiting.

Lather, rinse, repeat...

Hmm... did any people complete this with just Master Medic? Just curious... .

You can - if you have a xxx4 doc helping you... without those extra experimentation points, you can't get bleeding...

Yes thank you very much for the information, so would someone with very little skills in crafting (myself), be able to complete this easy?
