I am glowly and I have been for about almost 20 hours and the old man hasnt came? I know the tne guide it says 72 hours but I have done all the thing that are supposed to speed up the process. Can any of you others please tell me what you did and how long to took you to get the old man to come?

Just got my old man visit yesterday, took right at 48 hours for me, be patient young padawan to be.. thankfully the sith came only 3 hours later!

LOL there is no way to trigger him faster. You said yourself you know it takes 72 hrs so what's your problem? 20 hrs is not 72 hrs

Patience young padawan.... lol... nah it will take some time, its really different for everyone. took about 1.5 days for me. Just go do SOMTHING, i was organizing my bank when he came and saw me.

Well - this may cheer you up...
I got my visit from the old man after a day of becoming glowy.
Mind you, I was afk at the time, talking to a friend on the phone, when I hung up and got back to the keyboard, I scrolled up the spatial text and read "You see a mysterious old man" followed a few minutes later by "The old man wanders off" The screams could be heard 3 blocks away. Took another 2 days to get him to reappear.
The sith took about 3 hours after that.

Thanks for the posts and in the guide it said if you ran out of town and junk he would come faster...I guess it doesnt work ill just wait for him to come. Thanks

None of those so called "tricks" to make him appear faster actually work. It's just that some people have been doing those things and then the old man came. Heck, the poster in THIS thread could have said "Organizing your bank makes the old man appear!" and technically, it DID work for him.
Hang in there pal. Get ready for a long painful grind!

Me: Nope, I think the batteries on his rascal must be low... HEY WHAT IS THAT MOVING AT ME... AN OLD MAN!!! WOOHOOO
Son: See if I hadnt called you, he wouldnt have come.. I am your hero now right dad?
Me: Yes you are..
FYI thats how it really went down! So.. Heres a trick to get the old man to come.. have your son ask you about 48 hours into your wait..

Took about 48 hours for me as well. Was in the middle of fighting some reb's and he shows up right in the middle of the battle. lol

like visibility, the way the old man works is pretty much uncertain, now I do believe he could be timed by a certain amount of logs (shuttle jumping etc.) because some of the people that did that after glowly had him come within hours, others still had to wait, so I also think there's a randomness thrown in.

theres a random timer for everyone that is within 72 hrs.....when pub 10 first went live it was all about who went glowy when, now its randomized
